Southern Living Holiday Cake Contest

I've been a subscriber and fan of Southern Living magazine for many years.  It's practically an institution around my house.  And every year I look forward to the December issue, which always features a cake on the front that is known as the "Big White Cake."  The design and flavor of the cake vary from year to year, but it's always big and it's always white.  (Hence the name.)

This month, Southern Living is having a Holiday Cake contest and the winning recipe will appear on the cover of December's issue.  How cool is that?  You can visit the contest page for details.
